Ok this is such an interesting one and I really want to take a moment to appreciate just how intense this one is. Until I read this I had always felt super awkward when this one dog I sometimes take care off makes direct eye contact with me. Now for context I am the dog’s uncle, but still we do not know each other that well and only spend the odd week together when his pawrents are on holiday. So it is rather mindblowing to think that eye contact might actually be a sign of deep affection. It doesn’t make it any less uncomfortable when it happens, but it’s nice to know I guess.

I’m sorry what? Your dog purrs? How in the heck do I teach a dog to purr? I need this in my life desperately. The only thing that dogs have that cats do not in my opinion is the purr. A vibration and sound so soothing that it has been scientifically proven time and again to be the pawfect way to fully relax. So if you are telling me there is a dog who has learned to do this, I really need to know how.
